Software Development Intern, Imaging Informatics 

We are seeking a full-time or part-time software development intern – Imaging Informatics with experience/interest in medical image analysis and big data management to work with our team in Pittsburgh, PA to further develop and scale our technology platform. The position requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary group of scientists, statisticians and software engineers.

 

Potential Projects

  • Learn about our image analysis platform and how our scientists are using it.
  • Work with the team to deliver code/unit tests/function tests and automated tests for business-critical functionality.
  • Work on software improvements requested by our end user scientists.
  • Construct test cases and test functionality of code developed by other team members.

Scientist (Ph.D.)

Cernostics, Inc is seeking a Scientist at our laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA. The purpose of the Scientist is to assist with clinical and research duties related to tissue-based cancer diagnostic testing. The successful candidate will perform multiplexed immunofluorescence slide labeling, digital slide imaging and image analysis, cell culture, and data management for both research and clinical testing, as well as work with clinical collaborators on validation studies, supervise technical staff and perform other clinical and research duties as assigned. Recent PhD-graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply for this laboratory-based position. The candidate of choice will be hired into the level that is commensurate with their educational background and experience.
